Audrey’s formal education was in architecture where she developed a love for design, the built environment, and the way humans interact with the objects we build and put out into the world. Just out of school she was trained as an apprentice finish carpenter and worked installing trim work, and kitchens in numerous houses around Seattle, WA. Later she worked as a project manager, designer and commercial furniture builder for another company in Seattle. Audrey is trained in fine furniture making from The Center For Furniture Craftsmanship in Maine she attended their 9 month comprehensive program where she discovered that her own line of furniture and home goods/objects is her true passion and where she wants to dedicate her focus. AUDHUS Studio has been many years in the making but really fell into place at the culmination of the 9 month program.
